Cristiano Ronaldo reveals he’s a playable character in Street Fighter-style video game as he shares epic trailer
CRISTIANO RONALDO will be a playable character in a Street Fighter-style video game.
The superstar announced the news with delight on social media in a move that has captivated fans.
Ronaldo has a playable character in the upcoming game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
The game is made by developed SNK, owned by the Saudia Arabian non-profit organisation MiSK Foundation.
Ronaldo’s character boasts specialised football attack moves – one command move is called Headed Clearance, while he can also perform slide tackles to inflict damage on enemies.
The character even performs Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siuuu’ celebration after winning.
Ronaldo announced the deal in a social media post that read: “Big news to share with everyone today!
“I’m going to be a character in the new fighting game FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves!
“Let’s have some fun on April 24th!”
Fans have reacted with excitement to the news with one saying: “Lmao that’s wild. I like it though.”

Ronaldo is not the first footballer to appear in a video game.
Ronaldinho was the face of football spin-off game Fifa Street in which games would use the Brazilian trickster to pull off skills.
More bizarrely Harry Kane, Marco Reus and Neymar Jr have all been playable characters in Fortnite.
Meanwhile Erling Haaland appears in Clash of Clans.
The Man City striker said: “From the pitch to the battlefield!
“I’ve been a huge fan of the game for a long time and know everything about it, so to appear as an in-game character is really cool.”
