OSU hires 'crisis communication' services firm
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The Oklahoma A&M Board of Regents revealed on Tuesday that it has hired a D.C. firm to provide “crisis communications support” after the fallout of the sudden OSU President's resignation.
Oklahoma Voice first reported that OSU's governing board hired Pinkston Group to provide “reputation management and other consulting as needed” with a $120,000 contract
that runs from February 1, 2025, through January 31, 2026.
Christian Pinkston, founder and CEO of the Pinkston Group, said in a statement obtained by Oklahoma Voice saying, “We have a specialized practice providing support to governing boards and universities across the country.”
The Pinkston Group services are expected to cover the regents and the institutions under OSU's governance. The board’s jurisdiction includes Langston University, Oklahoma Panhandle State University, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, and Connors State College.
