Lionel Messi’s bodyguard Yassine Chueko challenges Logan Paul to a fight: ‘There’s no way out’
An energy drink legal battle between Logan Paul and Inter Miami superstar Lionel Messi could lead to a boxing match in the future. Messi’s bodyguard Yassine Chueko has offered to represent the FIFA World Cup champion and eight-time Ballon d’Or winner in the ring.
The bodyguard has a background in martial arts and went viral on social media for his incredible speed and reflexes while protecting the Argentine legend both on and off the football field.
“Listen Logan, I’m doing this video because a lot of people they stop me in the streets, they send me message, I get a lot of comments on Instagram about this fight,” Chueko said on an Instagram video. “So now the reverse is broken, there’s no way out. Let’s do the fight for the people. Let’s do it.”
The drama began when Messi launched his energy drink Mas+, which Paul claimed the packaging looked similar to his own brand PRIME. According to Goal, Mas+ and PRIME have now filed lawsuits against each other.
“Brother, you copied us,” Paul said on a video posted on TikTok. “Everyone saw it. They saw what you did, everyone notices it, and then we got sued. Hold on, wait, what? This ain’t justice. So we countersued, obviously. If you can’t beat the best, you gotta be the best. But that’s illegal, that’s trademark infringement. We’re holding him accountable, and it’s harassment?”
Paul jokingly said he would drop the lawsuit if Messi agreed to step into a ring to face him in 2025. The YouTube star last competed in a boxing exhibition in October 2023, winning a bizarre match with Dillon Danis. And now Messi’s bodyguard is offering to step in.
“I hope you get this message,” Chueko wrote on Instagram. “And after this, we stop talking on social media.”
