Chloe Brockett in crisis talks with boyfriend Jack Fincham as couple clash over their future after ‘year from hell’
THEY are the reality TV couple famed for their dramatic break-ups and passionate make-ups – but the latest bombshell twist could spell the beginning of the end for Chloe Brockett and Jack Fincham.
Former Towie star Chloe and Love Island winner Jack have locked horns over their future following a “year from hell” since moving in together in Romford, Essex.
After agreeing to leave their rented pad for a fresh start, The Sun can now reveal Chloe is in crisis talks with Jack as they remain split over where to live.
Chloe is desperate to be back in Brentwood, a lively part of Essex where popular celeb haunt Sugar Hut is located.
Meanwhile, Jack has found it tricky living in Essex while being banned from driving and has told Chloe he wants to move 35 minutes from her desired location to Kent.
An insider told The Sun: “Chloe is an Essex girl through and through.
“She’s found living in Romford lonely and misses the Essex buzz.
“Jack’s heart is set on making a move to Kent, but Chloe’s found a flat in Brentwood, Essex, and made plans to move there.
“They’re hoping to find a compromise, but if not they could end up living in different counties soon.
“They’re still very much together and are hopeful that if they do end up living apart the distance will help improve their relationship.
“It might reduce some of the stress that has built up over the last few months.
“They love each other and want it to work long-term.”
Make-or-break moment
The pair have been on/off since 2019 when they grew close after Jack’s split from Love Island star Dani Dyer.
They became an official couple in 2023 and moved in together last May.
However, within weeks police turned up on the doorstep of their home when an unnamed woman in Grays, Essex, in June 2024 complained she had been mauled by Jack’s Cane Corso dog, although no harm was done.
In January, Chloe sobbed in court as Jack was handed a six-week prison sentence for dangerous dog offences. He was bailed after submitting an appeal.
Love Island star Jack Fincham's legal battles
Jack has had numerous run-ins with the law since 2021 when he was arrested for drug-driving.
In 2023 he was convicted of the same charge and said it was the wake-up call he needed.
Jack told how he was at rock bottom when he was pulled over by cops for a second time.
Later that year he was handed a 36-month driving ban and given 60 hours’ community service.
Jack volunteered in a charity shop as part of his sentence.
However, in February 2024 he was pulled over again and charged with driving after taking cocaine.
He also faced charges of careless driving, having no insurance and using false number plates.
Jack was spared jail after speeding his £50,000 car down the hard shoulder of the A2 in Kent.
In January, 2025 he was jailed for six weeks after he admitted being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog.
Cane Corso Elvis first attacked runner Robert in Swanley, Kent, in September 2022.
He is then said to have mauled an unnamed woman in Grays, Essex, in June 2024 but no harm was done.
Jack was freed on bail while he appealed the sentence which he successfully overturned.
In March 2024, he successfully overturned the sentence and will no longer have to serve time in prison – although a further three months was added to his existing suspended sentence
Jack’s run-in with the law
On Friday, Jack won his appeal – and was told his seized dog Elvis could come home.
Chloe said the previous “horrific experience” of being in court made it too difficult for her to attend for the verdict, but met up with Jack shortly afterwards.
Confirming the court case had an impact on the couple’s relationship, Chloe told The Sun: “I’ve felt this lingering sort of like pressure over me with the stress of what’s been going on.
“Of course that affects the relationship. How can it not? No one’s going to be happy about going to court and all of these things.
“I’m forever grateful that the worst didn’t happen.”
Last week Chloe ended up in hospital after stress brought on a severe asthma attack.
She was forced to drive herself to A&E as Jack was hit with a 36-month driving ban in October 2023 for smashing his BMW into a traffic island after a cocaine binge.
Her terrifying hospital dash made Chloe focus on the importance of prioritising her mental and physical health having had to cancel work commitments and retreat from the spotlight as she battled repeated bouts of flu, tonsillitis and chest infections.
Hospital dash
Chloe said: “I feel like I’ve got the immune system of a Victorian child, but it’s probably because it’s been so stressful this last year, to be honest.
“My asthma has been horrific. I had an asthma attack the other day and I was really scared.
“Asthma can be so dangerous, it can literally kill you quite quickly.
“I knew I was getting worse and my inhaler wasn’t doing a thing so I thought it was best to go to hospital.
“I know it’s because I’m run down. I know it’s because I’m stressed out.
“Luckily Jack was so helpful. He’s really good and he does really look after me in those sort of scenarios. He really does because I’m a panicker.”
However, as rumours swirled over their relationship, Chloe was forced to post a statement on Instagram confirming they’re still together.
Despite admitting the court case had a negative impact on them as a couple, Chloe insisted they are still “very much in a relationship”.
Now the decision over where to relocate and whether they’ll continue to live together could end up being make-or-break for the couple.
