Firefighters knock down house fire in NW Oklahoma City
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Fire crews responded to a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City Wednesday morning.
According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, crews arrived at a home near NW 10th St. and Indiana Ave. around 1:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, flames could be seen coming from the back of the house and the roof. There was one person inside and they made it out safely.
"There was one occupant that was already out of the structure, there was no other occupants," said Major Zeth Hinten with OKCFD. "There was a dog inside, they got in there and were able to rescue the dog from the fire and we got the fire put out."
The cause of the fire has not been determined and the home is believed to be a total loss.
