‘She’s absolutely butchered’ beauty fans cry after woman’s Bratz Doll lip filler leaves her pout bleeding and sore
A WOMAN was left with a red-looking pout and appearing ‘sore’ after undergoing the Bratz Doll lip filler treatment.
Beauty fans expressed concern after watching her receive the cosmetic procedure in a video that has now gained over 215,000 views on TikTok.
The Bratz Doll lip filler treatment is an enhancement technique designed to create an exaggerated, full, and defined lip shape – mimicking the distinctive characteristics of a Bratz Doll.
This trend has gained popularity on TikTok, with numerous influencers and reality stars – including Lauren Goodger and Katie Price – opting for the procedure.
Experts have previously criticised the treatment, stating that it creates an “unnaturally oversized” lip shape, with some even warning that it can be “a risky procedure.”
However, beauty fans were alarmed after seeing one woman who appeared to have been “absolutely butchered.”
The original video, which gained over 75,000 views, showed the aesthetician applying numbing cream onto her lips, before injecting the filler into her lips, and it appeared that the woman was in pain.
She finished the treatment with a tool that appeared to push the filler into the lips, preventing it from migrating down her lips.
But many people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One TikToker was concerned at how “painful” it looked, whilst another said that they recommend always “seeking a medical professional for any injectables.”
Whilst a third said: “Ouch this shouldn’t hurt if that much bleeding. This is why you should only use a doctor for fillers. I never feel a thing.”
Others stated that the “numbing cream clearly isn’t effective,” whilst someone else expressed that she “already had plump gorgeous lips.”
The account which originally shared the first video then shared another video which showed her customer’s positive reaction to ease the worried TikTokers.
Replying to a comment which said: “Absolutely butchered that poor lass.”
The account replied by writing: “Well according to this ‘poor lass’ I’ve done exactly what she was looking for and she loves them.”
Whilst the customer can be heard saying: “Oh my God, I love it. Thank you.”
This video gained 215,000 views with 22 people commenting, and some were in support of her.
One wrote: “It’s important to remember that a lot of the red skin around her lips is inflamed and will go down in a few days — ‘butchered’ isn’t exactly a fair statement!”
What are the risks of lip fillers?
THE RISKS of dermal fillers depend on whether the procedure was done correctly and the type of filler used.
The NHS recommends you speak to your practitioner about the risks beforehand.
Serious problems are rare but can include:
- Infection
- A lumpy appearance under the skin, which might need to be treated with surgery or medicine
- The filler moving away from the intended treatment area, which may need to be removed using surgery
- Scarring
- Blocked blood vessels in the face, which can cause tissue death and permanent blindness
You should see your GP if you have any complications that need medical attention and speak to your practitioner if you’re not happy with the results or experience lumpiness.
