Man pleads guilty to indecent behavior with minors in Acadia Parish
ACADIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- A man has been found guilty, in Acadia Parish, in an indecent behavior with juveniles case from 2020.
Officials said Daniel Bryan Broussard plead guilty to seven counts of indecent behavior with juveniles under age 13 on March 14.
Officials said two nine-year-old girls reported the indecent behavior by Brousard, who was their mother's boyfriend. The two girls provided forensic interviews where they detailed the sexual abuse that took place between June and September of 2020.
Sentencing for Broussard will take place on August 28. Broussard faces up to 25 years at hard labor on each count, or 175 years if the sentences are ordered to be served consecutively. At least two years must be served without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
