Transportation Council safety meeting addresses roadway fatalities, injuries
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Capital Region Transportation Council met on Tuesday to discuss how to reduce traffic fatalities and severe injuries. They met virtually with the community to get their input and to give an update on the issues they most want to target to make driving safer.
Among their proposed actions is addressing intersections, which they say is where 52 percent of all fatal and serious crashes occur.
If you'd like to learn more, a public meeting with be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26 at Franklin Square Market in Saratoga Springs.
