How to watch Warriors vs. Heat
Golden State basketball is on the way! Come join our game thread and chat about tonight’s matchup here.
The Golden State Warriors play their second game of this road trip with Tuesday night’s matchup against the Miami Heat. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:30PM PT in Miami and can be watched on TNT and NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State’s six-game road trip got off to a rough start on Saturday after losing to the Atlanta Hawks, 124-115. The Warriors fell behind early, trailing 40-23 after the first quarter. Despite rallying late, they couldn’t overcome the Hawks’ offensive firepower—especially without Steph Curry, who sat out with a pelvic contusion.
Jimmy Butler led the Warriors with 25 points, while Moses Moody and Brandin Podziemski added 20 and 19, respectively. Given Golden State’s fight for positioning in the tight Western Conference standings race, Draymond Green didn’t mince words, calling their performance a “terrible loss.”

What to watch for tonight:
The Warriors turn the page to Tuesday’s matchup against the Heat, hoping to bounce back—and potentially get Curry back in the lineup. The two-time MVP is listed as questionable after completing an individual workout on Monday.
Steph Curry practiced today. He’s going through an individual workout right now. Will be listed as questionable tomorrow for Jimmy Butler’s return game at Heat, per Warriors. Depends on how body responds to the work.

Of course, the biggest storyline of the night is Jimmy Butler’s return to Miami. The former Heat star left under tense circumstances following a contract standoff that ultimately led to his trade to Golden State at the deadline. The move has paid off for the Warriors, who are now 16-4 since Butler’s arrival.

The game also marks Andrew Wiggins’ first matchup against his former team. Wiggins was the key piece Miami received in the Butler trade and is coming off a season-high 42-point explosion against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday. Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr spoke highly of Wiggins during an interview with 95.7 The Game on Monday as he looks forward to the challenge of facing the team’s former All-Star.
