'The Residence' Actress Eliza Coupe Hits Back at Criticism for Looking 'Unrecognizable' at L.A. Prmeiere
Eliza Coupe is hitting back at people criticizing her for looking “unrecognizable” at the premiere of her new Netflix series The Residence.
The 43-year-old actress is best known for playing Jane Kerkovich-Williams in the ABC comedy series Happy Endings and Denise “Jo” Mahoney in the final two seasons of NBC’s comedy series Scrubs.
Eliza is now playing Margery Bay Bix in the new Netflix murder mystery series.

Eliza took to Instagram to share several posts hitting back at comments. In one post she shared a video of herself pointing a gun at the camera. She wrote, “My response to all the bad press and wildly altered photos of me floating around the internet. You are all so consistently ridiculous. Thank you for making me laugh. Xoxo.”
Eliza also shared a video montage of recent selfies that she took.
