Daisy Edgar-Jones Reveals How Co-Stars Paul Mescal, Glen Powell, & Sebastian Stan Reacted to Her Playing Leading Roles

Daisy Edgar-Jones reveals how her male co-stars have been reacting to her taking the lead roles in many films.

The 26-year-old actress landed her breakout role alongside Paul Mescal in Normal People in 2020. Since then, she has played lead characters in projects such as Twisters alongside Glen Powell, and Fresh alongside Sebastian Stan.

Daisy said in a recent interview that these actors have been good sports about her being the main character in multiple projects.

“I have worked with basically all of the internet’s boyfriends. And I’m lucky that every actor has been incredibly supportive of me being the lead,” she told Elle.

“Glen, Sebastian, Paul, all of them. I think that’s why they’re so successful and so loved and so good: that they are so generous, and they really serve the story and are not serving themselves,” she added.

She continued: “I’m nervous for the point that it comes to working with someone who might not be so chill with it! Because there’s so much ego that can exist in this industry.”

Last year, Daisy explained why a kiss scene between her and Glen‘s characters was deleted in Twisters.
