Man pleads guilty in Albany Co. bank account theft case
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A New York man pleaded guilty to second-degree grand larceny on Tuesday. The Albany County DA's office said Steven Price, 56, is facing a possible sentence of four to eight years in prison.
An Albany County resident reported suspicious bank activity to police in September 2024, finding several transactions the person didn't make. Through his plea, Price admitted to stealing $59,700 from the resident, who was unknown to him.
With assistance from the Capital Region Crime Analysis Center, New York State Police arrested Price in his home on December 19. Price is scheduled for sentencing on May 23 at 9:30 a.m.
