Washburn University offering FAFSA scholarship incentive
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Washburn University is offering scholarship incentives for students who complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) this year.
Washburn University announced on Tuesday, March 25 that it would enter students who complete a FAFSA form into a drawing for 10 nonrenewable Washburn scholarships for $1,000 each ($500 per semester).
To enter in the drawing students must complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA using Washburn’s school code (001949), have a Washburn University undergraduate application on file or be a continuing undergraduate student and enroll full-time for the 2025-2026 academic year before May 1.
Washburn will be holding two FAFSA completion workshops in April:
- 4-6 p.m. April 9, Plass Room 224C.
- 4-6 p.m. April 22, Plass Room 224C.
