'I've got a senior moment': Ron Johnson goes blank during interview on 'crucial' WI race
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) struggled to remember the name of the judge he supports in Wisconsin's critical Supreme Court race.
During a Tuesday interview with MAGA influencer Charlie Kirk, Johnson said organizations funded by Turning Point USA and Elon Musk were working to get out the vote for conservative Waukesha County Judge Brad Schimel — although he could not recall the judge's name.
"So we need to get out to vote because this is a race between a judge..." Johnson said before a long pause.
"I've got a senior moment here," he admitted, allowing Kirk to help him remember Schimel's name.
Johnson warned that if Dane County Judge Susan Crawford won, then Republicans would also likely lose several seats in Congress due to redistricting.

"We may never have another free and fair election in Wisconsin," he opined. "We'll certainly never clean up our voter rolls. So this is a crucial election, has national implications."
Last year, Johnson slammed President Joe Biden for what he called a "senior moment" when speaking about Israel.
