Jenna Ortega Goes Gilded in Gold Shushu/Tong Skirt Set and Square Toe Le Silla Pumps for ‘Death of a Unicorn’ Press Tour
Jenna Ortega is back doing what she does best: Turning looks to promote her latest project. The “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” performer is now supporting her new film “Death of a Unicorn.” For it, she participated in a press junket, doing a series of interviews that began to release today.
In the interviews, she wore a gold skirt set from Shushu/Tong. The look included a cropped gold top paired with a matching skirt that has a twisting detail at the waist. The look was styled by Enrique Mendez who posted photos of it to Instagram. The look also included a pair of Solo Studios sunglasses and small Le Silla handbag, both in a rich burgundy.
For shoes, Ortega opted for Le Silla‘s Vittoria heel. That silhouette notably includes a square toe as well as an elegant cutout on the side of the foot. Square toes are widely viewed as more comfortable than a pointed-toe, which can pinch the foot together and allow for less stability. There is also cutout at the vamp of the Vittoria, exposing a bit of toe cleavage.
The vamp also features a gold, decorative buckle. In addition, up the sides, there are straps that are secured with matching gold buckles. The upper is made of brown patent leather. The square shaped stiletto heel measures almost four inches. The shoes are currently available on the Le Silla website for $929.
The “Wednesday” actress has been a fan of leather as of late. For some other press engagement for the new film last week, she wore an oxblood jacket and short-short set from Self Portrait. Melendez styled it with a pair of patent leather Aldo slingback heels. The shoe is the company’s Evania silhouette.
Aldo sells its Evania shoe for $90. The heel measure 3.75 inches.
Prior to that the actress was seen in a series of looks wearing a pair of Tom Ford Mary Jane heels. She’s worn those shoes with at least three different looks. Earlier in the “Unicorn” press tour, she wore a pair of recently released Christian Louboutin collaborative heels with Maison Margiela. She wore the Bilougiela pump, which features hand-distressing.
“Death of a Unicorn” hits theaters on March 28.
