Over 13 ounces of cocaine recovered in North Adams arrest
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. (NEWS10) -- North Adams Police reported that an arrest was made last week in a drug investigation. Johnathan Bump Sr., of North Adams, was charged with trafficking cocaine.
On March 19, detectives pulled Bump over for a traffic stop while investigating narcotics sales in the city. Utilizing a K9 unit, officers conducted a search of the car and reportedly recovered more than 13 and a half ounces of cocaine, as well as a digital scale and over $11,500 in cash.
Bump was taken into custody at the scene. He was arraigned on March 21 at Northern Berkshire District Court before being held in jail on a $10,000 bail.
