Breaux Bridge man killed in Monday morning hit-and-run
BREAUX BRIDGE, La. (KLFY) -- A Breaux Bridge man was killed in a suspected hit-and-run this morning, authorities said.
Charles LeBlanc, 86, of Breaux Bridge, was found dead in the 2600 block of Doyle Melancon Road.
Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call just before 7 a.m. Monday in reference to a male subject who was reported to be lying on the side of the road, officials said.
Upon arrival, deputies said they found LeBlanc dead as a result of a presumed hit-and-run.
The investigation remains ongoing.
