Schenectady pizza shop closing doors at end of March
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Schenectady pizza place is closing its doors after five years in the community. Annabel's Pizza Co., located on State Street, announced Monday that the restaurant's last day would be March 31.
A post on the restaurant's Facebook page said they will open a new location in the near future. Customers with reward points can use them at Annabel's sister restaurant, Bountiful Bread, on Western Avenue or at Annabel's Food Truck.
Officials with Annabel's Pizza Co. told NEWS10 they decided to close to focus on the food truck. They said they would be searching for a new home base during their travels.
"We have truly enjoyed our time in Schenectady, and we thank all of our wonderful customers, the city of Schenectady, and other local businesses for embracing us during our five years," officials said.
