Lucky Ladbrokes punter turns £20 into £96K from just four races at Southwell
A LADBROKES punter from St Helens turned £20 into a jaw-dropping £96,578 thanks to a stunning string of victories at Southwell.
The bettor placed two bets on the second half of Friday’s card, including a £1 Lucky 15 and a straight £5 four-fold accumulator.

And, against all odds, every single selection came home a winner, despite none of them being the race favourite!
His picks — priced at 6/1, 10/1, 12/1, and 14/1 — defied expectations, but it was the first leg that truly set the tone.
The 19:00 feature race saw 2/1 favourite Legal Reform attempt to lead from start to finish, only to be dramatically pipped at the post by 14/1 outsider Dutch Kingdom in the final stride.
That photo-finish proved pivotal, as without it, the total return would have been a comparatively measly £1,343!
With momentum on his side, King Of Fury (12/1) scraped a victory by a neck, before Toby Tops (6/1) stormed home in relative comfort.
The final leg saw Sevensees (10/1) fend off 2/1 favourite Moulin Booj, sealing an astonishing windfall for the punter.

“You’ll do well to find a closer finish than Friday night’s 19:00 at Southwell. And while there was still a long way to go in the bet at the time, that short head victory for Dutch Kingdom ended up being the £95k difference maker for our customer.
“To land the Lucky 15 to the tune of £21.5k was one thing, but to back the 15,000/1 four-fold with a fiver on top – coupled with that early drama – means this has to go down as one of the best bets we’ve seen in recent years.”
