Shoppers race to Primark for perfect spring co-ord in the colour of the season – even TV star’s a fan
SPRING is officially here, and a new colour is already dominating the shopping rails.
So it’s the perfect time to pick up some staple buttermilk yellow pieces to add to your wardrobe.
And a fan-favourite high street giant has released the “perfect” lemon co-ord that won’t break the bank.
Primark’s strapless button-up waistcoat is priced at just £14, while the matching tailored mini skort is only £12.
If you’re looking to elevate the look, there’s also a £24 blazer up for grabs in the same pastel shade.
Primark bosses say: “Make a statement in this butter yellow strapless waistcoat, designed to turn heads at your next event.
“Perfect for summer occasions, this piece works as a coordinated set with the matching mini skirt, or mix it up by pairing with high-waisted trousers and heels for a fresh take on evening wear.
“Effortless, versatile, and always on-trend – this is a must-have for your collection!”
And the spring set has already caught the eye of reality TV star Erica Roberts.
The Married At First Sight beauty gushed that “Primark’s doing bits” with the “perfect spring co-ord”.
Modelling it in the changing room, she gushed: “I feel like I may have found the nicest two-piece that Primark has ever produced because how stunning is this?
“These are actually little shorts.
“I just think this is literally the perfect little outfit for spring. I just know that yellow, lemon, is the colour of the season. This is so cute!”
But the 27-year-old wasn’t completely sold on the matching blazer, which she felt ruined the overall look.
She said: “I don’t know if I love the blazer with it. I don’t know if it’s just too much, kind of drowning it.
“I don’t know if it’s just too much.”
Her video quickly racked up more than 24,000 views on TikTok, with fashionistas loving the yellow vibes.
“Butter yellow is ur colour frrrr”, one person gushed.
A second chimed in: “Oh my word!!! Can’t believe Primark are banging out fashion like this. So gorgeous.”
Agreeing about the blazer, a third added: “Love the colour. Definitely blazer is too much.”
Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: “Love this colour. I like the whole outfit but if you think its too much maybe wear a different top with the shorts and blazer.”
