I transformed my bedroom into the ultimate Playboy paradise that looks like it came straight out the Argos catalogue
THERE was once a time when pre-teen girls were obsessed with Playboy-themed home decor.
And one woman has left the internet stunned after showing off her nostalgic bedroom.
The young woman, from the UK, took to social media to show off the room – and it looks to be every 2000s teenager’s dream.
In the clip, she panned around her hot pink room to show off the vintage memorabilia she had collected.
The two end walls had been decorated with leopard print wallpaper to clash with the hot pink colour.
In one corner, the woman had a pink foldable leather chair with the Playboy bunny printed on it.
She also had a leopard print Playboy bunny rug and a pink leopard print scratch tree for her cat.
Hanging on the walls was a collection of vintage accessories such as Playboy Jeffrey Campbell heels and a collection of Juicy Couture bags.
Near her bed, she had a large Playboy poster as well as an array of different cushions from the brand.
The bed itself was pink and kitted out in a Playboy motif duvet set.
The hot pink, glitzy room has left people in awe but that wasn’t the only room she had decorated.
Her kitchen had been transformed into a leopard print paradise with Playboy tea towels and leopard print cupboards and toasters.
The clip was posted to her TikTok account @juicyyg1rl and went viral with over 295k views and 38k likes.
People were quick to take to the comments in awe over her nostalgic room.
One person wrote: “You bought the whole Argos catalogue from 2004.”
Another commented: “I had the whole Argos catalogue of Playboy in my room back in the day.”
Facts you didn't know about the Playboy Mansion
Girlfriends vs Playmates
Rumour has it that Hugh Hefner would have two to a dozen “girlfriends” living with him at a time. These girlfriends are not to be confused with Playmates. Each girlfriend had their own room, but one “special lady” was named as girlfriend number one and stayed with Hef in his room. Each girlfriend received a $1,000 (£760) weekly bonus “allowance.”
Hef’s Wild side
The Playboy mansion was home to a private zoo. It was one of very few private residences that actually has a zoo license. Hefner was a fan of birds. Among his collection – many of which roamed the grounds – were peacocks, macaws, flamingos, toucans and ducks.
The Elvis Legend
Within the mansion was a secret room, called “The Elvis Room.” Legend has it that the King himself, Elvis Presley, had a little slumber party in the room with up to eight eager bunnies.
“Just walked back into 2003,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “OMG memories!”
“This is LUSH,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Nostalgia!”
