Immigration supporters gather at Terry Schrunk Plaza

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Protesters gathered at Terry Schrunk Plaza in downtown Portland to show their opposition to the Trump Administration's efforts to deport migrants.
They especially oppose the latest efforts to deport immigrants with green cards.
"I think people need to know we're still going to be out here fighting back," one protester told KOIN 6 News. "We can't win this and we can't defend our communities if we're not standing in solidarity with each other. And I think demonstrations like this are a great show of force to show people it's not a time to hide but be out in the streets fighting back."
This event was put on by the groups Portland For Palestine and Portland State's chapter of Students for a Democratic Society."
