Rain coming after sunny day in NY, NJ
NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Expect bright sunshine and seasonably cool temperatures Sunday in New York and New Jersey.
Winds will begin to decrease and afternoon highs will reach the upper 40s to low 50s.
Clouds will then increase this evening as a storm system approaches the region. Rain is expected to develop after midnight and continue into the morning hours.
The precipitation could start as snow or a wintry mix in parts of northwestern New Jersey and the Hudson Valley. Be sure to keep an umbrella on hand as conditions are likely to stay on the wet side through the early afternoon hours on Monday. Temperatures will once again be in the upper 40s and low 50s.
Look for brighter and drier conditions on Tuesday.
