Inside Sean Bean’s wild love life – from Corrie star marriage to cancelled wedding and four divorces
SEAN Bean has led a dramatic life just like his on screen characters – from cancelling a wedding at the last minute to four divorces.
The 65-year-old has been apart of some of the biggest TV shows and movies in modern history.
Sean made his acting debut in the production of Romeo and Juliet in 1983.
Since then he’s starred in Game of Thrones, Tory as well as the Lord of the Rings films.
Off screen, Sean has been married a whopping five times, which has resulted in four divorces.
The actor first tied the knot in 1981 to his school sweetheart Debra James, before they called time on their relationship seven years later.
Sean went on to marry Coronation Street actress Melanie Hill and they went on to have two children together.
Sadly though, their marriage ended in divorce in 1997 but Sean wasted no time in moving on.
After meeting on the set of blockbuster Sharpe, Sean and Abigail Cruttenden were wed just three months after his divorce to Melanie was finalised.
The couple went on to have a child together in 1988 but divorced just two years later.
In 2006 Sean started dating actress Georgina Sutcliffe with the love birds scheduling their wedding for January 2008.
However on the night of the nuptials the ceremony was postponed due to ‘personal reasons’.
The married a month later at the stunning Marylebone Town Hall on February 19th.
However, their turbulent relationship was rocked by allegations of domestic abuse and police were called to their martial home on three separate occasions.
They announced their separation in 2010.
Keen gardener Sean spent the following years single and walked down the aisle for the final time in 2017, marrying Ashley Moore.
Sean has three grown children and four grandchildren.
