The Michigan Wolverines and Texas A&M Aggies both made it through the first round of March Madness. Fresh off of a Big Ten Tournament Championship win, Michigan beat out the UC San Diego Tritons 68-65 in the first round. Texas A&M eliminated the Yale Bulldogs 80-71. Michigan is ranked No. 5 and Texas A&M is ranked No. 4 in this year's tournament, so it's anyone's game. The last time the two teams played was during the Sweet 16 round at March Madness in 2018, which saw Michigan win 99-72. Michigan went on to reach the National Championship that year, ultimately falling to Villanova.
