Inside Christine McGuinness’ effortlessly sexy glow-up making her one of the most wanted dates on the reality scene
CHRISTINE McGuinness is the queen of bikini snaps and often sets pulses racing with her head-turning looks.
But despite being known for her toned figure and pristine glam, the 37-year-old has transformed her appearance over the past decade.
Christine has gone from being a fresh-faced beauty queen into a dedicated gym addict – and just this week stunned as she stripped down to a tiny thong bikini.
And even having three kids with Paddy McGuinness, prior to the pair announcing they were splitting in 2022 after 11 years of marriage – hasn’t got in the way of her work outs.
The pair have been living together in their seven-bedroom home despite their separation, and the Real Housewives of Cheshire Star has served a masterclass in how to be the ultimate divorce diva.
Since her arrival into the showbiz world nearly two decades ago, Christine’s sensational glow-up evolution is hard to ignore.
And this is while being a dedicated co-parent to twins Leo and Penelope, 11, and Felicity, eight, who she has spoken about having autism.
Here’s a look inside Christine’s incredible superstar glow-up, and how she achieved it over the years…
Beauty queen – 2005
Merseyside-based Christine (maiden name Martin) has been turning heads with her looks for years, and won several beauty pageants during her teenage years.
This included featuring in the Chester Model Girl competition in 2005 and the pageant star was crowned Miss Commonwealth in 2007.
At the age of 18 in 2007, she took home the title of Miss Liverpool and it helped to launch her modelling career.
Modelling and Paddy – 2007
Christine became well known on the modelling circuit in Liverpool in 2007 and she often appeared with the likes of Abbey Clancy at events.
She met TV star Paddy when she was modelling at the Liverpool Tennis Tournament and said she was unaware of who he was at the time.
She told The Liverpool Echo: “We had a mutual friend there who introduced us but I can’t say I was star-struck – I’d never seen him on anything.
“I knew who Peter Kay was, obviously, and I’d heard of Max & Paddy, but I didn’t realise it was him. He made me laugh, though, he is quite a charmer and we just clicked.”
During this time Christine still had a slim figure, but had her natural brunette hair and a more natural make-up look.
Blonde bridal hair – 2011
Paddy and Christine’s relationship went from strength to strength, and he popped the question in 2009 on Christmas Day.
The hot couple tied the knot at Merseyside’s Thornton Manor Estate in 2011, with Paddy’s pal Peter Kay one of the 200 guests invited.
Christine looked show-stopping in a strapless bridal gown and veil, with her hair featuring blonde highlights.
Fitness post-pregnancy – 2013
After they had been married for two years, the couple announced they were expecting twins, with Leo and Penelope arriving in 2013.
Christine shared how she put on 5.5 stone during the pregnancy and was determined to get her toned figure back after the birth.
She shared a number of gym snaps showing her with chiselled abs, and said: “I never dreamed I would get anywhere near my pre pregnancy body. The female body is amazing!!!”
Boob job – 2015
Being pregnant had an effect on Christine, who loved having a larger bust.
The former Miss Liverpool decided to increase her bust size from 32D to 32E when the twins were 18-months-old.
Not only was she thrilled with the surgery – which was free after a cosmetic company company approached her – but so was Paddy.
She told the Daily Star: “They went huge while I was pregnant. I loved them, I loved having big boobs.
“But then I had the twins and every day my boobs were just disappearing.
“I couldn’t wait to get them back so I had surgery. I wanted them to look big but not too fake and I think I got what I wanted.
“I went bigger than I was before, but I’m happy with them and my husband’s happy with them, so that’s what’s important.
“Sometimes you need to do something for yourself, and I didn’t feel like me. I didn’t feel sexy. Now I can’t wait to show them off in a nice bikini on holiday!”
During the chat, she admitted feeling the pressure to look good with her husband’s Take Me Out job.
She shared: “I have to watch my husband with 30 single gorgeous women every Saturday!
“’Now we’ve got kids, we never go out on a Saturday night so we always stay in and watch Take Me Out. I do really enjoy the show though and Paddy enjoys doing it.”
Botox and blonde – 2017
Christine decided to commit to going full blonde in 2017 and it coincided with her joining the cast of the Real Housewives of Cheshire in 2018.
Appearing on the show had an effect on not only her looks but her wardrobe, with her showcasing numerous glam outfits.
She also launched her own fitness programme called My Vibe, which featured workouts for fans.
Christine has admitted she had some tweakments to enhance her looks, including Botox.
In a chat with Closer in 2023, she shared the secret to her flawless skin and said: “I’m teetotal so that’s probably stood in my favour, and I’ve always looked after my skin.
“I got fillers and Botox years ago, but in the last couple of years I’ve avoided it. I follow a strict skincare regime and I have a skin peel, which sounds a bit dramatic, but it’s not.”
Christine McGuinness' TV career
CHRISTINE got her first taste of TV fame when she appeared alongside Paddy on shows including Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and All Star Mr & Mrs.
However, she got her big break after joining the cast of The Real Housewives Of Cheshire from 2018 to 2020.
This then opened up the door to other TV shows, and she has since appeared on high profile programmes such as Loose Women, This Morning, and Good Morning Britain.
In 2021, Christine stripped off for The Real Full Monty, and the following year she took part in the sports competition The Games,
In 2024, she showed off her cooking skills on Celebrity MasterChef.
Butt lift rumours – 2019
Thanks for her sharing steamy bikini photos of her perk derriere, some people speculated if she’d had butt surgery to achieve the look.
She was forced to deny rumours and shared a snap of her performing squats and urged people to not “fly to Turkey” to get butt surgery.
Christine wrote: “Fall in love with the process and the results will come.
“#BuildYourOwnAss #DontFlyToTurkeyFFS #JustSquat.”
She told Closer: “I work out three times a week and I do yoga once a week. I find my workouts therapeutic. I don’t do it to look good – that’s a bonus. I do it for my mind and to switch off.”
Divorce – 2022
Paddy and Christine announced their separation in 2022 after their 11-year marriage.
The pair each posted identical statements on Instagram where they opened up about the “difficult decision”.
In a joint statement signed off with a kiss, Christine and Paddy said they aimed to be the “best parents they could be”.
And just last week, Christine – who recently went on a make or break holiday to Center Parcs with Paddy – opened up to Fabulous about her marriage troubles.
“I can’t deny right now is a very, very difficult time for us. I’m feeling really quite raw and all over the place,” she told our Celebrity Editor, Kelly Allen.
“It’s just, we’ve been together 15 years – 11 years married.
“We are gonna have ups and downs, but this situation at the minute…I don’t want to go into it too much, but I will just say that I didn’t cause this situation.”
Following the break-up, Christine showed Paddy what he was missing with a racy bikini snap on a Greek holiday that September.
Sexier than ever – 2025
Christine is certainly stepping into a dazzling new chapter of her life, “radiating confidence and excitement” after her split from Paddy.
From embracing her inner sexy-self to igniting a secret romance, she’s proving that she’s truly the one “winning” post-divorce.
Posting to her 736,000 Instagram followers, Christine is not afraid of posting a sizzling picture whilst she’s on holiday.
Whether it’s a topless picture from the back, or lounging around in a string bikini to show off her assets, Christine proves she is genuinely “not bothered”.
