Earthquake rattles New Jersey: USGS
GLADSTONE, N.J. (PIX11) – A 1.8-magnitude earthquake rattled parts of New Jersey Friday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The earthquake struck Gladstone around 7:30 a.m., the USGS wrote on its website. Gladstone is about 50 miles away from New York City.

A 2.4-magnitude earthquake shook Paramus on Jan. 24. New Jersey has been rattled by multiple earthquakes and aftershocks after a 4.8-magnitude quake rocked the area last April.
Over 40 million people, including those in New York City, Boston and Philadelphia reported feeling the earthquake.
