LOOK: Malabon sets Guinness World Record for longest line of bowls of noodles
MANILA, Philippines – Malabon City has set the Guinness World Record for the longest line of bowls of noodles on Friday, March 21.
Guinness official adjudicator Sonia Ushirogochi made the official announcement following the hours-long event at the Malabon Sports Center.
The Malabon City Government said in a Facebook post that 6,000 bowls of Pancit Malabon were used to set the record.
“Ngunit hindi dito nagtatapos ang hamon — kinakailangan ding tiyakin at idokumento ang maayos na distribusyon ng 6,000 mangkok ng Pancit Malabon para sa aktwal na pagkonsumo ng tao, alinsunod sa patakaran ng Guinness World Records,” the Malabon government said.
(But the challenge did not end there — there should be the proper documentation and distribution of the 6,000 bowls of Pancit Malabon for the actual consumption of the public, following the rules of the Guinness World Records.)
Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, who also participated in the event, received the official recognition from the Guinness representative.
