A FASHION fan has revealed how she discovered that the Primark kids’ section is selling clothes that fit her comfortably.
Regan Ellis, who is 5ft 6in, a size 10 to 12 with a “hefty set of DDs”, has found that their spring wardrobe is great for affordability.
Regan, who is known as @reganellisx on TikTok, was “really impressed” with their collection after managing to get her hands on some trousers, vests, and a cardigan.
Speaking to her 287,000 TikTok followers, Regan shared a video of her shopping trip to her local Primark store.
She said: “I’ve heard loads of people say that the Primark kids’ section, particularly ages 14 to 15, fits like a UK size 10 to 12.”
“So, I decided to head to the city and check it out for myself.”
Regan continued: “I was curious to see if the clothes would fit me, especially with my 34DD chest (fake or not, they’re there).”
“After browsing, I managed to pick up some really cute bits.”
Regan first started with a pair of blue trousers in a size 13 to 14.
She said: “Length-wise, they were fine, but they were too tight around the thighs and bum, so they’re going back.”
Regan paired this with a green vest in a size 14 to 15 that she thought was “super cute.”
However, she said: “It’s a little ‘free the nip’ at the moment, but I’d definitely wear it on holiday. I’ll be keeping this one.”
She then went on to show her followers a pair of beige jeans and a matching crochet top.
Regan said: “The top was a size 12 to 13, and while it technically and while it technically fit, it was too small in the chest area.
“If I’d gone for a 13 to 14 or 14 to 15, it probably would’ve worked better.
“For smaller cup sizes (A, B, or C), it’d be fine, but for D and above, it’s a no.

“The jeans, however, were a size 14 to 15 and fit perfectly. I’m really happy with these and will be keeping them.”
Next up in her Primark haul was a top size 12 to 13 knitted sleeveless top, which had bows at the front.
Regan said: “I think it fits really well. It’s cute, but I might use a tagging gun to make it a bit more secure, as the bows aren’t very sturdy.
“If there had been a bigger size like 14 to 15, I’d have gone for that, but I’m impressed with how this fits, so I’ll keep it.”

Regan said: “This is adorable, but it’s held together with just a button and a bit of wool, so I might use a tagging gun to reinforce it.”
“If there had been a size 14 to 15, I’d have gone for that, but I love this piece and will keep it.”
Regan bought everything from the Centre MK store, but explained that she is going to return the items into another store to see if they have bigger sizes.

Overall, Regan was “really impressed” with the Primark kids’ section.
She said: “It’s perfect for those who are size 10 to 12 or smaller.
“Even the F&F kids’ section was fantastic when I checked earlier.
“For reference, I’m 5’6, so take that into account when shopping. I’m dead chuffed with what I found.”
Her video gained over 887,000 views, with 203 people rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.
Many couldn’t believe that the clothes were designed for children, as one wrote: “Some of those tops are cute but noooo way should a child wear them.”
Whilst a second added: “My question is why are children wearing these type of tops.”
A third stated: “If they made jeans and things for women who are petite in height then I wouldn’t have to shop for jeans in the kids section but no so kid clothes it is.”
Whilst another commented: “I’ve recently discovered Next goes up to age 16 and is about a size 12/14 – new wardrobe unlocked!”
Someone else wrote: “Yes I always buy at age 12/13 I’m size 6/8. Designer stuff is cheaper too.”
And another fashion fan added: “I’ve done this for years now, saved so much money! and it makes me feel so much better about myself, weirdly.”

- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.
