Online scams in Mangaluru teacher and computer operator lose over Rs 15 lakh
A school teacher and a computer operator from Karnataka collectively lost nearly Rs 15 lakh to online scams; one involved a fake investment scheme found on Facebook, and the other an online task scam via Telegram. Both victims were deceived into transferring large sums with promises of high returns.
