Capital Craft Beverage Trail to launch 2025 passport at Drink Schenectady
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Community members can pick up a new Capital Craft Beverage Trail Passport while exploring the taste of local breweries, wineries, distilleries, and more at Drink Schenectady on April 5. The passport is an annual guide for the region's craft beverage makers and will have three new counties added this year.
Held at the Museum of Innovation and Science (miSci) from 6 to 9 p.m., the event will allow participants to sample different locally-made beverages. New to the passport this year are Fulton, Montgomery, and Schoharie Counties.
Capital Craft Beverage Trail Vice President and Owner of Meadowdale Winery John Sheehan said it's exciting to return to miSci to celebrate the growth of Capital Craft Beverage Trail. "With the addition of new members and three more counties, the 2025 Passport offers more opportunities than ever for people to experience the best craft beverages our region has to offer," Sheehan said.
Tickets for Drink Schenectady can be purchased online in advance for $35 or $45 at the door, which can only be paid by credit card. A designated driver admission ticket that doesn't include sampling is available for $5. Ticket purchases include a souvenir tasting glass.
