NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Low pressure will move toward the area bringing clouds and unsettled weather later in the day.
New York and New Jersey can expect patchy fog Thursday morning giving way to mostly cloudy skies this afternoon. Rain will develop later Thursday evening as a front moves into the region from the west. The high will be 53 degrees in the city and low to mid-50s in the suburbs.
Friday will be partly cloudy and windy as low pressure drifts offshore into the Canadian Maritimes. Temperatures will be close to seasonable with a high of 51 degrees in the city, and upper 40s to low 50s in the suburbs.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy and milder as high pressure will dominate the weather for the area. Temperatures will be near 60 degrees in the city, and upper 50s to low 60s in the suburbs.
Sunday will be sunny early followed by increasing clouds in the afternoon as a storm system approaches the region. Temperatures will be slightly cooler with a high of 50 in the city, low to mid-50s in the suburbs.
Monday will be cloudy with periods of rain as low pressure moves through the area during the afternoon. The high will be 55 degrees in the city, and the low to mid-50s in the suburbs.
Tuesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the mid-50s for much of the area.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and cool with a high of 50 degrees in the city, and upper 40s to low 50s in the suburbs.
