There are 12 Hibees currently out on loan across the country and beyond – we took a closer look at how they have been getting on in 2025!
Dylan Vente - PEC Zwolle
Dylan Vente has continued his impressive start with PEC Zwolle and has kicked on again in 2025.
Vente is the club’s top goalscorer with 12 goals in 26 appearances to date – seven of those goals came in the space of six matches between January and February 2025!
PEC Zwolle currently sit 14th in the Eredivisie, with 26 points after 26 games.
Nohan Kenneh – Ross County
Nohan has featured in every Ross County match since he joined The Staggies in January.
The defensive midfielder has made nine starts in the middle of the pitch, helping the Highland side climb the table with Don Cowie’s side still in with a chance of finishing inside the top-six with three games to go.
Ross County currently sit ninth in the William Hill Premiership, four points off the top half of the table.
Kanayo Megwa – Partick Thistle
Kanayo Megwa continues to impress in the Scottish Championship with Partick Thistle. The 21-year-old has made 20 league appearances for The Jags – who currently occupy a play-off spot – sitting in fourth place on 44 points.
Megwa has made 17 starts featuring predominantly at right-back, however, more recently he has played further up the pitch in a wing-back/right midfielder role.
Jair Tavares – Motherwell
Jair has struggled for game time at Motherwell, having only made eight appearances across the 2024/25 campaign.
He has not featured under new boss, Michael Wimmer – with his last appearance coming off the bench against Celtic on Boxing Day.
Murray Johnson – Queen of the South
Murray Johnson spent the first half of the season at Airdrieonians before making the switch to join Queen of the South in League One. Murray made 13 appearances for Airdrie, however, he has yet to make an appearance for Peter Murphy’s side in 2025.
‘Muzz’ is currently away on international duty – representing Scotland Under 21s in Spain.
Allan Delferrière - Racing Union Lëtzebuerg
Defensive midfielder Allan Delferrière has received plenty of First Team minutes since his loan move to the Luxemburg side.
He’s made 16 appearances in all competitions for Racing Union Lëtzebuerg, who currently sit fourth in the league table.
Oscar MacIntyre – Queen of the South
Oscar MacIntyre has been relishing his time in Dumfries with Queen of the South! The left-footed defender has been ever-present for The Doonhamers, starting 31 out of 36 games.
The 20-year-old has been a very versatile, dependable player – featuring at left-back, centre-back and left-midfield so far in 2024/25.
Jacob MacIntyre – Kelty Hearts
Oscar’s younger brother Jacob extended his loan at Kelty Hearts until the end of the season. The 19-year-old has played all across the midfield for the League One side, providing three goal contributions in 20 matches.
Kelty Hearts are currently mid-table, with 36 points from 29 games.
Reuben McAllister – Forfar Athletic
18-year-old Reuben McAllister hit the ground running since making the switch from Cove Rangers to join Forfar Athletic on loan in January.
Reuben scored on his debut against Spartan in a 1-1 draw, before finding the back of the net against Bonnyrigg in a 2-0 win. The creative midfielder has three goal contributions in nine games for Forfar!
Malik Zaid – Edinburgh City
Elsewhere in League Two, Malik Zaid has received plenty of game time. The capital side are currently chasing promotion – sitting third in the table, seven points off the top two.
Malik has played 11 matches since making the move from Annan Athletic in January, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Kyle McClelland – Coleraine
Kyle McClelland has featured frequently for Northern Irish side Coleraine.
The young centre-back has made 31 appearances for the Club in all competitions and has helped Dean Shiels climb the table in recent weeks. Coleraine have moved up to 6th in the NIFL Premiership, with one game to go before the split.
Freddie Owens – Civil Service Strollers
Young goalkeeper Freddie Owens has spent the duration of the 2024/25 campaign at Lowland League side, Civil Service Strollers.
The 19-year-old has played 26 times and has kept three clean sheets in his last eight games!
