SHOPPERS are going wild for Poundland’s latest beauty dupes.

So if the cost of living crisis has meant you’ve had to cut back, you can still get your skin glowing with their make-up and skincare products.

With many of us feeling the pinch more than ever before, luckily, Poundland has come to the rescue with their latest beauty buys.

Recently, bargain hunters went crazy for the chain’s purse-friendly Charlotte Tilbury dupes, but now, there’s two more buys that have left people open-mouthed.

One happy shopper was left beaming after browsing the shelves in her local Poundland, when she spotted a dupe for the iconic Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum.

Not only this, but Abs Grant also found a copy of the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base – and it looks practically identical.

Thrilled with her finds, which are both super affordable, Abs took to social media to alert others, leaving many totally stunned.

Posting on BARGAIN LOVERS Poundland, Home Bargains, B&M, Primark, The Range & More, a public Facebook group with 777,000 members, Abs uploaded snaps of her new Body Stories Moisturising Primer and beamed: “This is amazing! £2 Poundland.”

She then added: “Even better than my £10 Elf primer.”

Thanks to this beauty buy, which contains Niacinamide, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E, you’re sure to achieve a softer, smoother complexion in no time.

The buttery formula is perfect for prepping skin, whilst providing hydration and nourishment.

But that’s not all, as the Bobbi Brown inspired buy, which is £82 cheaper than the viral original, ensures your make-up will glide on effortlessly for a flawless finish.

As well as this, Abs also posted a snap of her Body Stories Repair Serum, which looks strikingly similar to the Estée Lauder favourite, which has a jaw-dropping price tag of £89.

Alongside this, Abs claimed: “Repair serum is also very good, £1.50.”

Best beauty dupes

“A huge 55% of us would like to spend less on our beauty routines according to new research from E.l.f. Cosmetics, so it’s no wonder there’s millions of #dupe videos on Tiktok.

“While some dupes are easy to spot given their look-a-like packing, they’re often lacking when it comes to the contents.

“In fact, some of the best dupes look nothing like the luxury product they’re a dead-ringer for – and, trust me, they’re the ones you want.”

REAL: Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer, £32.50 DUPE: Natural Collection Bronzer, £3.50 which is a saving of £29. The Natural Collection Bronzer comes in more shades, although it doesn’t have a mirror in the compact.

REAL: Milk Make-up Hydro-Grip Primer, £35 DUPE: E.l.f. Power Grip Primer, £10. These two share a similar green hue, as well as the same long-wearing, mattifying properties – although, E.l.f’s is so popular it’s just as hard to get hold of.

REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick, £28 DUPE: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige A Nu, £8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks are virtually identical on the lips, although while Charlotte Tilbury’s is matte, the L’Oreal Paris Lipstick has a satin finish – which actually makes it more comfortable if you’re wearing all day.

REAL: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, £40 DUPE: Collection Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation, £6.99. While they don’t look alike from the outside, the formula, consistency and staying power of both foundations is pretty similar – unfortunately, the Collection only comes in 20 shades vs Estee Lauder’s 60 options.

REAL: Glossier Boy Brow, £20 DUPE: Essence Make Me Brow Gel, £2.50. There’s a whole Reddit thread dedicated to this dupe, so you know it’s got to be good. They both have a waxy consistency and added fibres to make brows look fuller. I have to say, the shade range is far better with Boy Brow, but if you’re brunette, there’s plenty of Essence shade options to try.

At just £1.50, the Repair Serum dupe is super purse-friendly and a whopping £87.50 cheaper than Estée Lauder’s original.

As well as this, it works to hydrate and smooth skin whilst you sleep and contains Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides and Vitamin E.

But if you want to get your hands on these bargain buys, you’ll need to move fast, as like all beauty dupes, they’re sure to sell out fast.

Beauty fans beam

The Facebook post has clearly impressed many, as numerous beauty enthusiasts eagerly flocked to the comments to share their thoughts.

One person said: “Must try this….”

Another added: “Looks good.”

Meanwhile, someone else commented: “Been using these [for] a few weeks, love them.”

An ex employee on Poundland's prices

Holly Laing, 22, from Northampton, has revealed she used to work in Poundland and often heard customers say the same annoying thing.

Holly claimed she worked for Poundland in 2015 for three months as a Christmas temp.

She said that customers would get annoyed when products cost more than £1 individually.

In a comical video, Holly acted out a scenario that often occurred on her shift at the bargain store, where customers were always baffled and irritated that items could cost over £1.

Holly uploaded her video with the caption “I heard this a lot” as she said: “POV: Not everything’s £1 in Poundland”.

Holly explained that customers would often say to her: “But this is the pound shop, is it not?”

“That’s very misleading, I’ll only pay for that if it’s a pound.”

“Disgusting, what a rip off.”
