New ramen, poke eatery opens in Saratoga Springs
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A new ramen, poke and boba tea shop has opened in Saratoga Springs. U•ME, located at 135 Ballston Avenue, had its grand opening on March 9.
U•ME is owned by Peter Chen, who also owns Great Tang’s a few doors down at 127 Ballston Avenue. The Chen family moved from New York City to Saratoga Springs about nine years ago. In November 2023, they saw the empty space three stores down from Great Tang's and decided to open U•ME.
"U•ME gives a different fusion, different style, with gorgeous and super creative overstock seating ambiance and overall a very unique place to dine at," said Selina, daughter of the Chen family.
The U•ME menu features a variety of ramen, noddle, and poke dishes, as well as several milk and fruit teas. Peter Chen said the homemade ramen soup base is brewed with green tea and black tea, which are both good for heart health. You can view the full menu on the U•ME website.
U•ME is located in the same plaza as Market 32, Raymour & Flanigan, Dollar Tree, and Benson's Pet Center. The eatery is open Wednesday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
