Jared Padalecki Teases 'Supernatural' Reunion With Jensen Ackles & Misha Collins on 'The Boys'

Jared Padalecki is giving hints about what to expect for his reunion with fellow former Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins on The Boys.

Last month, it was announced that both Jared and Misha will join Jensen on season five of The Boys. While Jared and Misha will have guest roles in the final season, Jensen is currently playing Solider Boy in the hit Prime Video series.

In a new interview, Jared dropped details about what to expect for his upcoming role, and how he’ll possibly interact with Jensen and Misha‘s characters.

“I don’t know what we’re doing. I don’t know if we like, bump into each other. I don’t know much about it. They’re still trying to write and figure out who’s gonna be there. But it’ll be the end of this month,” the 42-year-old actor told Business Insider in a new interview.

Jared also talked about what motivated him to accept the role.

“To give credit to my wife, I was like ‘Hey, I think it’s gonna be a weird role. I don’t know what to do. And she was like, ‘You excited about it?’ I was like, ‘Yeah.’ She goes, ‘Then do it.’ I was like ‘OK. You wanna read it first?’ She was like, ‘No, if you like it, then do it,’” he revealed.

“I’m sweating now. Literally my text to Eric Kripke was like, ‘Hey, if I’m getting naked, just give me like a month’s notice to eat broccoli and rice and chicken breasts and all day long just sit there doing push-ups,’” he added, mentioning The Boys‘ showrunner, who also created CW’s Supernatural.

Jared also admitted that he feels pressure when it comes to appearing on The Boys.

“It’s f—ing terrifying for me,” he added.

If you didn’t know, Jared is also set to star in a CW series that is currently in development.
