70s sci-fi star and top model unrecognisable as she’s spotted in LA – would you recognise her?
70S SCI-FI fans will remember this actress for starring in a cult classic TV show back in the day.
The star, now 74, who was also a top model, starred in a very popular TV series which ended 43 years ago.
The actress in question is Erin Gray, who is best known for starring in Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.
Erin played the character of Colonel Wilma Deering, who was the love interest of Captain William Buck Rogers.
The popular TV series – produced by Universal Studios – ran for 37 episodes over two seasons between 1979 and 1981.
On the show, the actress was known for wearing a number of tight bodysuits and tiny skirts.
This week Erin was spotted out and about in Los Angeles.
The star kept a low profile by rocking some black sunglasses and a baseball cap.
Erin opted for a long grey cardigan, blue t-shirt and black trainers.

In Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, William Rogers, who is an astronaut, gets frozen in time during a freak accident – and scientists try to reverse the damage.
Speaking about her role of Wilma in the franchise, Erin told Closer Weekly: “I was scared to death on the one hand.
“Oh, this is science fiction, which means that everything I’m dealing with isn’t real.
“There’s no normal telephone, I’m saying words that are a little Greek and a little Latin put together to make something new. The only way I could get through it was just trying to make it as real as I possibly could.
“So it’s like, “OK, just make it real. Just commit to the realness of this. Use my memory training to create the reality and sort of commit to it. Again, I throw myself into things that are scary and hope for the best.
“The other thing is that there’s a part of my personality that is fearless, but there’s also a part of my personality that has dealt with a certain amount of abuse in my life. So there’s a very fragile part.’
After her stint on the show, Erin went on to appear in various other popular flicks.
Some include Six Pack, T-Force, Loaded, Nesting and Finding Grace.
The star also landed roles in other TV shows as well.
Erin starred in Baywatch, Murder She Wrote, The Love Boat and L.A Law.
Her most recent was The Thundermans back in 2018.
