New app tracks runners, route and more during NYC Half Marathon
NEW YORK (PIX11) – A new beta app will let you track runners during the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon on Sunday, according to the New York Road Runners.
More than 27,000 people are expected to participate in the 13.1-mile race spanning Brooklyn and Manhattan, the nonprofit said. You can track runners, milestones, live leaderboards and coverage of the race through the app.
Race-day information, alerts and course maps also appear in the app, the NYRR said.
The app will replace the TCS New York City Marathon app, which had more than 4.3 million downloads, according to the nonprofit.
You can download the app in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
The app can also be used to track runners during the TCS New York City Marathon, which is taking place in November.
