Registration opens for Kelly's Angels Mother-Lovin' 5K in Saratoga
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Registration has opened for Kelly's Angels' annual Mother-Lovin' 5K walk and run. The 5k is scheduled for Sunday, May 11 at the Saratoga Spa State Park.
The 13th annual event serves as the main fundraiser for Kelly's Angels' mission to help families who have lost a loved one to cancer or other illnesses. The event raises money for both children and their families.
"We would love for you and your family to join us for our morning of fun for a great cause,"
said Kelly’s Angels founder Mark Mulholland. "2024 was our best Mother-Lovin’ 5k yet and we
plan to make it even better in 2025.'
The Mother's Day event begins with a free kids' fun run for ages nine and under, starting at 8:45 a.m. The Mother-Lovin' 5K begins at 9:15 a.m.
Awards will be given to the first and second overall male and female winners as well as the first, second, and third place male and female winners across eight age groups. The event will also feature complimentary treats, like chocolate milk from King Brothers Dairy and donuts from Westy's Cider Donuts, and feature an auction full of prizes.
Participants can join in person or virtually. Those participating in person can pick up their registration packets in advance on Saturday, May 10 and the Orenda Pavilion.
Advance registration through March 31 is $35 then from April 1 until May 10 registration is $40. Day-of registration costs $45.
