Water main break in Pittsfield disrupts water service

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- There was a water main break that has caused a water service disruption on Sunset Street in the city of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The service disruption began at 8:30 a.m. from 53 to 182 Sunset Street.
The city said there may be discolored water in the surrounding areas as well as for the affected residents once their water service is restored. If there is discolored water, the city advises residents to run cold water until the water clears.
