Trolls say my council estate looks like Shameless – and mock me for going to the shops in a dressing gown & bare feet
AN INFLUENCER has light-heartedly spilled the beans on what it’s like living on a council estate which trolls have brutally compared to Shameless.
Trewley Precious, who previously revealed she loves walking around barefoot and in her dressing gown, said that some of the remarks and comparisons make her laugh.
The blonde beauty told the rising star GK Barry: ”I do get funny comments about my council estate. I should be offended – but they’re so funny.
”Someone put on my thing ‘Your estate looks like the Shameless‘,” the council icon was in hysterics.
”I was literally reading it walking to the shop barefoot.”
Trewley, who’s become a favourite on social media, with a staggering 54.7 million likes on TikTok, added that although the area was ”deprived” there was a strong sense of community.
The influencer – who previously listed the strict rules travellers allegedly have to abide by – said: ”Like, if you were outside having a fight, they’d back you.
”If you were outside and needed money, they’d give you what they have.”
The young stunner has even whipped up meals for her neighbours on several occasions, including her famous jacket potato and toast with tomatoes.
”I’ll always mention my council estate – because I won’t forget what they’ve done,” she shared with the I’m a Celebrity star in her Saving Grace podcast.
However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Trewley hasn’t witnessed some crazy things on the estate, including machete attacks.
She shared with GK Barry, 25: ”A few years ago, I was in my house and I could hear screaming and I was like ‘What is that?’

”So, I come outside and I see my neighbours down the strip of the road, like looking round the bend.
”I see my opposite neighbour trying to look. Three of us ran out – all women […] – ran around the corner to the alleyway where we could hear the screaming.”
What the three stumbled across horrified them.
”We saw a boy pinned to the floor with two boys with machetes – and they’re obviously about to juke him.”
Facts on gypsy and traveller communities
Typically, gypsies is a term used to describe Romani people who migrated to Europe from India while traveller refers to a person with either Irish, Scottish or English heritage.
Around 300,000 Gypsy, Roma and Irish travellers are thought to live in the UK.
All three groups come from nomadic ways of life, however, as it is increasingly difficult to find land to live on, many are moving into permanent housing.
They place high value on family life and often live close together even after reaching adult years and getting married.
Often the men are the breadwinners of the family while the women stay home.
While many English gypsy girls are allowed to drink alcohol and go on holiday with their friends before they get married, their Irish counterparts are not.
But witnessing a potentially fatal attack – or even risking their own lives – wasn’t enough to stop the trio from quickly interrupting the machete-carrying youth.
”But our natural thing was ‘Oy, oy, what are you doing?!’
”Literally, as I said it, I thought ‘I’m next. You idiot, you replied’.
”But I did help him – the boy. They ran off and then I cleaned him up inside and I said to him ‘Go down the back alleyway’.”
Trewley, who explained she’s ”a Gypsy from the travelling community”, claimed that despite being in her mid-20s she still has a strict curfew and has to be home by 11pm.
”Everyone thinks I’m joking – I’m literally not.”
On one occasion, the influencer told the millionaire star, the birthday bash got shut early after her brother got so intoxicated no one else wanted to stay out without him.
”My brother was in the club – we got so drunk, he got carried out.
”Cause he got carried out and he left, my sister was like ‘Well, he’s left, then we’re going home. Like, it was automatic.
”It’s a completely different way of life.”
Trewley, who sadly lost her dear father almost three years ago, went on: ”If mu dad was her now [in the studio] and his friends walked in, there is no way we could be in the same room.
”My automatic thing would be to get up, be like ‘Do you want a drink?’ If they say no, I leave – if they do, I’ll get them a drink then I leave.”
Looking glam is a must
Previously, the young beauty has spilled the beans on the community on several occasions – even claiming that she got her first spray tan aged nine.
She said: “Now, one of the biggest rules in the house was the girls always had to be glam, always has to look presentable, no matter her age.”
Trewley recalled how her mum was putting make-up on her at the young age of seven – and got her first-ever set of acrylics at the unripe age of 11.
The blonde beauty revealed if she were to go out with friends her parents would sit outside the garden and keep a close eye on them all.
She added: “They wanna know your mum, your dad, your grandparents, your auntie, where you live in this state, how long you lived here for, what’s your occupation.
“They start questioning you like they’re the Old Bill.”
