Oklahoma photographer accused of "ghosting" clients, arrested for DUI, other charges
COMANCHE COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — In September 2024, an Oklahoma bride hired a photographer for her special day, but was later ghosted, with many others having the same experience. That photographer was recently arrested.
News 4 reported a story back on September 4, 2024, about a new bride, Morgan Bradley, who hired accused photographer, Peyton Moore, of Peyton Moore Photography to capture her special day, said she was ghosted by Moore days before the wedding.
Bradley paid Moore $700 for the wedding photos, plus travel fees, but as the day of the wedding neared, Moore had gone completely silent.
Many others reported the same kind of encounter with Moore.
As first reported by KLAW, in December 2024, a warrant for Moore was issued in Comanche County District Court for obtaining cash or merchandise by bogus check or false pretenses, with another warrant for the same count being issued on January 15 for Moore.
She was arrested for driving under the influence on Wednesday, February 26, by the Comanche County Sheriff's Office and was charged with: Driving under the influence for the second time within 10 years, failure to maintain security, and two counts of false pretense, bogus check, con game.
Moore was released from the Comanche County Detention Center after posting a $1,000 bond on Wednesday.
She is expected to appear at the Comanche County District Court on Wednesday, April 16, at 9 a.m.
