100 to lose jobs as manufacturing plant shuts down

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Around 100 people will lose their jobs when a Buffalo manufacturing plant shuts down later this year.
CertainTeed, a plant located in Buffalo's Lakeside neighborhood that makes fencing, railing and decking, will shut down "over the coming months," they said in a statement to WIVB News 4.
The outfit was purchased in 2023 by Oldcastle APG.
"The employees affected by this change are our priority, and we will continue to work together through the next steps of this process," they said in a statement Monday.
A WARN notice has not yet been posted, and no other details were made available.
