GOP rep. says border czar 'operating in the red' as he spends $800K on each migrant flight
Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) threw cold water on President Donald Trump's call to pass "one big beautiful bill" to fund the government and mass deportations at the same time.
During a Monday interview on Steve Bannon's War Room, Crane sounded the alarm on funding for border czar Tom Homan, tasked with carrying out Trump's mass deportation scheme.
"You know, I'm at — I'm kind of adamant we got to do two bills, and you got to get one up now because we got to get money for the immigration, for the deportations, for the wall," Bannon agreed.
"Unfortunately, it seems as if the conference, the Republican conference, and even President Trump are leaning towards one big beautiful bill," Crane said. "We just feel [passing two bills] is the best way for the president to bank some wins early and actually get the funding that [Homan] needs to carry out these deportations."

"I've heard from, you know, some good authorities that Tom Homan's already operating in the red, so the guy needs money," the lawmaker revealed. "He needs cash, and you know the way these departments are — they're gonna say — they go we have no money. They're not gonna be looking around scraping for money to give Homan, and because they're the administrative state and deep state is opposed."
According to The Mirror, just one military deportation flight with 80 migrants could cost as much as $852,000.
