I tried M&S’ £15 bum boosting pants but they’re going straight back – I looked like I had a ski slope on me
A WOMAN has left everyone in stitches after the viral M&S’s booty-boosting shorts gave her a ”ski slope” backside.
It’s the undergarment that’s taken the internet by storm, with fans claiming the Cool Comfort Seamless Bum Boosting Shorts make their booty look incredible.
The booty-enhancing shorts retail for £15 at M&S and come with extra firm padding[/caption]The knickers, which are priced at an affordable £15, come with a built-in padding to give your bum a little extra oomph.
Since their launch last year, the shorts have already gone viral on social media and in the world of fashion – and even star Lorraine Kelly couldn’t resist trying them on live TV.
However, one mum, 34-year-old Soph, was recently left mortified after she tried on the sought-after item, which shoppers can snap up in different colours.
Posing in the mirror, the brunette beauty showed what her enviable body looked like before popping the undergarment on.
”This is my figure beforehand. I mean, there’s not a lot to be desired – there’s not much on that rear end.
”But Marks & Spencer, they have actually released bum pads and I just thought ‘You know, f**k it, I’m doing it’.”
Singing perfectly in tune to Anaconda by Nicki Minaj, the mother couldn’t believe what she was seeing in the reflection.
”What is…? It looks like a ski slope,” Soph, from Somerset, was gobsmacked by her brand new booty, which has been transformed in just seconds.
”No… Marks & Spencer, behave!” joked Soph who said she will be sending ”those bad boys back” and stick with what she’s already got.
”Marks and Spencer’s get in jail, you rascals!” she went on in the caption, mortified by the visibly more plump rear end.
According to the shopper, she had also tried hoicking the padded shorts higher – however, it felt like they’d cut her ”in half”.
”I think under dresses they could be comfy but with trousers on it just felt like far too much fabric. The cushions are soooo firm too.
”I had high hopes being from Marks and Sparks but apparently their design department just decided to have a laugh at our expense,” wrote Soph who said it looked ”like a rally bad BBL”.
Why Everyone Is Loving M&S
Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the shop of the moment. She explained:
“M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about.
“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’ that notion is long gone with it now being one of the leading high street stores for womenswear.
“Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.
“The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also.
“Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30.
“After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on.
“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and amazing accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year on year.”
With close to a whopping 200k likes in just one day, the video has taken the internet by storm, leaving thousands in stitches.
”It’s…pointy,” said one, as another confessed they too had had high hopes for the shorts.
”Omg this is brilliant! As a square flat bum girl I had hope that these might look good.”
”I bought them for festivals and sitting down loads,” someone else was raving about the £15 purchase.
”Oh I’ve got these exact ones and I also look like a ski slope lol,” a fellow M&S fan chimed in.
”I couldn’t stop laughing at myself when I tried them on. Can’t hitch them up either.”
