NFL fans had so many jokes after Patrick Mahomes completely botched his touchdown spike
When it comes to the NFL’s arm talent, it doesn’t get much better than Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs quarterback can make any throw on the field. We’ve seen plenty of that already.
But, apparently, there is one throw he does struggle with … a touchdown spike.
During Sunday’s AFC Championship Game in Kansas City, Mahomes gave the Chiefs the lead early in the fourth quarter on a 10-yard touchdown run. Mahomes had to evade Bills tacklers and follow the blocking of Travis Kelce. So yeah, he was fired up. So fired up, though, that he completely lost grip on the touchdown spike.
It was literally his worst throw of the night.

Hey, it’s just one more throw for Mahomes to work on.
And predictably, NFL fans had plenty of jokes for the botched spike. Mahomes will probably hear about it after the game too.

NFL protecting Mahomes by refusing to show a replay of that horrendous spike attempt. Disgraceful
