'This violates the law': Several Republicans reportedly 'concerned' about new Trump move
Donald Trump on Sunday was accused of violating the law.
Trump over the weekend defended his decision to boot at least 15 independent inspectors general in what has been described as a "late-night purge."
On CNN, the host opened a Sunday segment by reporting, "Senators on both sides of the aisle" are criticizing the move. She specifically cited Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, and Chuck Grassley from the GOP.

She then explained that a law put in place after Trump's first term requires explanations and even a time delay for those changes.
The host then brought on New York State's 11th Inspector General, Lucy Lang, who said, "This move not only violates the law, but flouts Democratic norms."
