Dancing On Ice fans furious as latest star gets the axe in cruel twist despite skater pulling out
DANCING On Ice fans were not happy this evening as another star got the boot.
Once again there was no skate-off and in a huge shock, Ferne McCann was sent packing after receiving the lowest scores during Movie Week.

Fighting back tears, she said: “So gutted, but it is what it is.
“It’s been amazing. Thank you so so much. It’s just been brilliant. So fantastic.”
Her pro Brendyn said: “We’ve had just the best time skating together and learning and growing, and she had so much more in her.”
Ferne performed a Trolls-themed skate to September by Earth, Wind And Fire, which features in the animated movie.
Fans rushed to comment on the surprising result, with one person commenting:
“Ferne going is OUTRAGEOUS.”
A second commented: “The no skate off makes it so abrupt & just feels a bit disrespectful to the contestants. It’s basically you’re out come here and have an immediate interview & you’re surprised they’re upset?!”
While a third added: “What the actual f**k.. Ferne deserved to be in that final. This is why this show is s**t because all the good ones go home..”
And a four raged: “Another horrible result! They really need to bring back the skate off ASAP if it’s actually coming back at all. Ferne was average, but compared to Steve she looked like a professional ice skater!”
The exit came after comedian Josh Jones was forced him to withdraw from the competition due to a “twisted ankle”.
The 32-year-old did return to the show, but not the competition, telling presenters Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern: “So we were skating, and I went over on my ankle (during rehearsals)… and I kind of twisted my ankle.
“And I’ve got a cold sore as well, so I’ve got a lump on my leg and my ankle.”
The Only Way Is Essex star Dan Edgar went with a James Bond theme on Sunday’s show, scoring 31 points as he opened the competition, but was quickly surpassed.

Michaela Strachan performed as Maria from The Sound Of Music, with a Connie Fisher version of the song, and earned the joint highest score so far with Aston.
Coming last with the judges was Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave, with 20 points on the leaderboard.
Judge and former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse said Sir Steve “told the story really well”, but urged him to showcase “more skill” in future.
Footballer-turned-pundit Anton Ferdinand took on the comic book character Wolverine after the blockbuster Wolverine And Deadpool used Madonna’s Like A Prayer last year in the movie, and earned 30 points.
On the same level, was The Traitors star Mollie Pearce, who did an enchanting routine to Disney’s Beauty And The Beast song of the same name.
Fans felt she was undermarked for her performance and felt others had been favoured.
EastEnders star Charlie Brooks earned 27 points, with Oti saying the performance to Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers – which was used in the pottery scene from the 1990s romance movie Ghost – was the “most beautiful we’ve seen yet”.
But the judge added that her “nerves get the better of you”.
