His statement comes after an insider spoke to People, saying that Braison, Tish, Miley and Noah were trying to avoid this evoling into “this Cyrus family feud.”
The insider noted that “they got through the drama of 2024,” adding, “This is not enjoyable for them.”
Following the release of Trace‘s letter, we learned that Braison had teamed up with Billy Ray to work on a new album.
“I’ve spent this past year getting to know my dad better than I ever have,” he said in a statement that accompanied the music news. “I’ve heard stories, jokes and songs that I don’t think anyone else has.”
He continued, saying, “It’s an opportunity to tell my dad’s story through music and I’m fortunate to be able to take it. Music, stories and family are the most important things to my dad, so to bring the two together is a full circle endeavor.”
Braison is one of two of the Cyrus siblings to skip Tish‘s wedding last year.
