I’d love to get married at The Traitors castle & hope I get a discount, says winner Leanne as she reveals wedding plans
THE Traitors winner Leanne Quigley says she wants to get married in the Scottish castle where the show is filmed.
And her joint victor Jake Brown will give cash to his parents after a tough upbringing with cerebral palsy.
Leanne will use the prize money to get married to her fiancée Sophie[/caption] Quigley is an ex-soldier[/caption]A record near-eight million people tuned in to BBC One to watch the Faithfuls pair win the shared prize pot of £94,600 — £47,300 each.
Former soldier Leanne, 28, who posed as a nail technician in the show, will splurge some of the cash on her wedding to fiancée Sophie Jones, her partner of six years.
She said: “I’ve actually looked at the castle as the venue — I didn’t realise you could get married there.
“That would be so iconic, I’d love that.
“I hope they give me a discount!
“I’d absolutely invite the Traitors cast to the wedding, they’re the most incredible people I’ve ever met.
“The most genuine love that we have for each other is amazing.
“We’ve had a few meet-ups since leaving the castle and every time we see each other it’s all love.
“It’s so lovely.”
The Traitors is filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish highlands, and couples looking for the perfect wedding venue are able to hire the Great Hall, which can cater for up to 130 guests, for £45,00 for a two-night stay.
The couple are also parents to two-year-old twin boys, conceived through IVF.
The ex squaddie, who joined the British Army when she was just 16, also spoke about expanding her family.
She said: “I will absolutely be trying to have another baby, not straight away, maybe in a couple of years, I think.
“My family need a little bit of a rest at the minute.
“But I think we’ll go through and freeze our eggs, hopefully get some embryos and get them in the freezer for the future.”
Leanne, who is from Holywell, Wales, is also planning a family holiday to sunny Portugal.
Discussing her decision to go undercover and hide her true career Leanne revealed that she’s been underestimated her whole life because of her looks.
She said: “I’ve had assumptions about the way I look my whole life.
“If I was to ever meet anybody and tell them I was in the army, they would say, ‘oh, you don’t look like you’re in the army.’
“And I’m like, ‘Oh, okay, well, what does a soldier look like?
“I’ve had it a lot and it was nice to show that females can be strong and we can do everything like everybody else can.”
Meanwhile, project manager Jake Brown, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was six months old, has revealed he will give parents Micheal and Deborah a large cash injection.
He said: “I wanted to give some money back to my Mum and Dad because I feel I owe it to them.
“Even though I’m now a confident person, I feel like the person I am today is because of my mum and dad.
“As well as spending money on a holiday with my wife to America, I want to give something back to my parents because even though it’s been difficult for me having disability, it’s been difficult for them as well and they’ve had to help make me who I am, so I want to give something back to them.
“I’m proud of my disability, it doesn’t define me.
“It’s all I’ve ever known, it has been hard, especially when I was younger, I really did hate that part of me.
“It affects my right arm and right leg.
“I could tell, as I got older, the differences between me and my friends would grow in terms of balance, my coordination.
“I’d look at myself in the mirror and be like, ’Why am I doing this?’ I would think, ‘Why me?”
The Cumbrian native has been inundated with messages online from people he has inspired.
Jake added: “I’ve had so many nice messages and it’s people who have either got it whose kids have it.
“They say that seeing me on TV has given them hope and that just fills my heart because that’s what I wanted to achieve, because when I was young, that was me.
“So to have people think I’ve inspired them or their son or daughter, it’s very nice.
“Spreading awareness that you can reach your dreams and your goals is all I wanted.”
Jake, who became known in the game as The Traitor Hunter after his success at catching traitors, added: “I wanted to go on and spread awareness, but to do it in my own way.
“I didn’t want it to be in people’s faces, I wanted to be myself and just let people see the real Jake and then just naturally bring it into conversation as and when I thought was necessary.
“So it’s quite nice how authentic it came across, just in a mission with Alexander, and the comments have been so nice.”

FORMER British diplomat Alexander Dragonetti has a string of dates lined up for him – thanks to a fellow contestant.
Interior designer Francesca (Frankie) Rowan-Plowden, 44, said she has been inundated with requests from her single, divorced friends to go on a date with heartthrob Alexander, 38, after they bonded on Traitors.
She said: “Well my personal WhatsApps are full because of him – all of my divorced, single friends are saying: ‘When can I meet Alexander?’
“They are all like ‘Alexander is lovely’. I am like yeah I know.”
Alexander added: “Yes, thanks Claudia [Winkleman] for announcing that I am single on national TV.
“I mean I’m so grateful for all the support. It’s been absolutely fantastic. I’ve been so lucky. I’m getting used to social media.”
Meanwhile Traitor Charlotte Berman, 33, admitted that her fake Welsh accent allowed her to think before she spoke.
Charlotte, from London, said: “I’m quite a fast speaker and probably over speak but having the accent tapered me.
“I think it was really funny watching the episodes back because people would go: ‘Oh Charlotte is quiet.’,
“All of my friends in real life would be like: ‘What?’”
